National Geographic Society
Explorers Hall

Magian worked with Explorers Hall at the National Geographic Society to produce multimedia for their changing program of museum exhibits in Washington DC.

We have designed and produced programs for touchscreens and plasma displays, soundscapes and video for a number of these exhibits. In each case Magian was also responsible for all technical design, specification and implementation.

Many of the changing exhibit programs focus on the extraordinary achievements of National Geographic and its support of individuals whose work seeks to expand the understandings we have of the world.

We have created programs for these exhibitions:

  • Mike Fay’s Megatransect Project
  • Undersea Exploration
  • Paleontology
  • Australia
  • Australian Aboriginal Art

Magian received recognition for this work with a number of awards including:
